Smile Montana is back!

We are excited and ready to take excellent care of you.  At this time we are working hard to reschedule all appointments that were postponed.  If you do not receive a call in the next week please feel free to call our office.  Our top priority is and always has been to provide excellent dental care in a safe and healthy environment and we have always used universal precautions to protect our patients, staff and families.  As recommended by the CDC, we will be observing social distancing whenever possible and we will be limiting the number of non-patient visitors to our office. We have used our time off to incorporate some additional cleanliness measures at both offices. These include enhanced personal protective equipment and medical grade air purifiers, in addition to a deep cleaning and decluttering. Patient screenings will be completed at the time of your appointment confirmation and also at entry to the dental office.  Thank you in advance for being patient through all these changes and guidelines. You all are awesome and we can’t wait to see all of our Smile Montana friends again.

Friends and Patients of Smile Montana,

First and Foremost we hope you all are coping well during this shutdown. We miss all of you and miss taking care of our patients.

We just wanted to reach out to everyone and offer a brief update on our status as we are complying with government guidelines relating to COVID-19.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have released guidance for dental organizations to respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  At this time they are recommending that dental facilities postpone all NON emergent visits until further notice.  All scheduled appointments through April 30, 2020 will need to be rescheduled. As we approach that date I'm sure further instructions will come down the pipeline and we will hopefully have a date where we can get all of you rescheduled and taken care of.

If your appointment happens to fall within this window of time please know that once the guidelines have been lifted by the CDC, we will be contacting you to reschedule your appointment. We are keeping very detailed and accurate records of who needs to be rescheduled when this event is resolved. We understand that this can be an inconvenience but it is important for Smile Montana Dental Center to do the best we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Currently our Kaispell office is closed and the Columbia Falls office is open for emergency appointments only.  We are answering phones for emergencies at 8:00am Monday through Friday.

All the best from your friends @ Smile Montana Dental Center

At Smile Montana, our main goal has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. We all have concerns right now but essential dental care should not be one of them. In order to comply with CDC guidelines and be part of the COVID-19 solution, we are rescheduling all non-essential dental treatment until Monday April 6th, 2020.

Please rest assured that a Smile Montana Dentist will be available at both Columbia Falls and Kalispell locations during regular working hours Mon. through Fri. to care for any unforseen dental need. We will contact youif anything changes. Here are some more details you should know:

  • If you have a dental emergency, please contact us and we'll take care of you. If you're in pain, have a broken tooth, or an abscess, please call either our Columbia Falls or Kalispell offices.

  • If you have essential ongoing treatment with us, we will keep you on the schedule or re-appoint your treatment as needed. We will be reaching out to each of you individually

  • If you are unsure if you're dental needs are urgent or not please call us and we'll discuss it together.

We wish you all good health. Please know that we will get through this together!

Be safe,
The team at Smile Montana

03/16/2020

We wanted to reach out to our patients and the communities we serve to discuss Smile Montana’s approach regarding the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.

Be assured that all Smile Montana locations practice universal infection control guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.

In our operatories, our usual cleaning procedures have always utilized hospital-grade disinfectants approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as effective against the Coronavirus COVID-19 and similar viruses.

To give our patients even more peace of mind, we've expanded the cleaning protocols that our team utilizes in our office, focusing on high frequency touch points such as handles, chairs, countertops, sinks, etc.

As an additional measure, we kindly ask you to contact our office to reschedule any upcoming appointment should you experience any of the following:

• Fever
• Flu like symptoms in the past 14 days
• Having been told you have the coronavirus, the flu or other communicable illness
• Persistent cough

Lastly, to be part of the solution of slowing the spread of COVID-19 we ask that all adults please come to their appointments alone and minors be accompanied by a single adult. This will minimize the number of people in our waiting area.

We welcome any questions or concerns by phone or email.

Warmest regards,
Smile Montana Doctors & Staff
