Dr. John F. Miller

Dr. John F. Miller was born and raised in Northern Arizona, but spent summers with relatives in the beautiful Flathead Valley. He knew at an early age that he would settle in Northwest Montana. Dr. Miller graduated Magna cum Laude with a Biology degree from Arizona State University in 2007. Following graduation he was accepted to the world renowned University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco as a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. He graduated from Dental school in 2011 and immediately moved his family to Montana.

Dr. Miller has a passion for life that spills over into the art and practice of Dentistry. Outside of the office he spends his time as a Husband to Juli Miller and Father to Nayvee Lee, Banks, Maxwell, and Lennon. He enjoys the lake in the summer and Big Mountain in the winter, especially when he is in the company of great friends.

Dr. Miller is a participating member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Association of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, as well as the local Montana Dental Association. He treats every patient the way he would want to be treated.

Dr. Hillary E. Hoffenbacker

Dr. Hoffenbacker was raised in Kalispell and is a Glacier High graduate.  After high school, Dr. Hoffenbacker went to the University of Montana in Missoula to complete her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. Dr. Hoffenbacker graduated with high honors. Dr. Hoffenbacker completed dental school at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR with highest honor.  She returned to Montana after finishing school in June of 2017.  

Dr. Hoffenbacker is excited to be back in the Valley.  She joined the team at Smile Montana on November 1, 2017.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry.  When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Hoffenbacker and her husband enjoy spending time with family and their dog Oliver, traveling, watching football, camping, and being at the lake.

Dr. Casey L. Jacobsen

Dr. Jacobsen was born and raised just east of the mountains in Fairfield, Montana.  After high school, Dr. Jacobsen went to Montana State University in Bozeman to complete her bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. After working as a dental assistant for a few years, Dr. Jacobsen then started dental school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle.  After graduating dental school in June 2016, she then went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington. After residency, Dr. Jacobsen went on to private practice in the Seattle area.

Dr. Jacobsen is excited to be back in the Montana, particularly the valley.  She joined the team at Smile Montana on July 1, 2019.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry.  When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Jacobsen and her husband enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their cat Oliver, traveling, skiing, cooking, and enjoying their time back in the best state.

Dr. Jesse Elledge

Dr. Jesse Elledge completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, emphasizing in Exercise Science. He then attended The University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, graduating in 2018 with highest honors. Additionally, Dr. Elledge accepted a Health Professions Scholarship through the Military and immediately upon graduation, Dr. Elledge was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. He served at Camp Lejeune, NC, working as Clinic Director at Courthouse Bay Dental.

Dr. Elledge was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. During his undergraduate studies, he met his wife, Lydia. Together they have a beautiful daughter, who was born in Whitefish, during their schooling and military transition. They always knew they would move to Montana as soon as they had the chance. Dr. Elledge loves exploring everything outdoors with his family and is thrilled to establish his roots here in Valley.


Dr. Peter Ivey

Dr. Ivey started his higher education journey at Point Loma Nazarene University graduating with a Bachelors of science in Biology and then attended University of California San Francisco to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He is a skilled dentist and dedicated to continued education. In 2020 he completed an implant pathway course so he can further serve his patient’s dental needs. He strives to reach the highest standard of dentistry.

He enjoys living in the Flathead with his wife Molly and his son Remington. He is taking advantage of the beautiful landscape in Flathead Valley by snowboarding in the winter and improving his golf game during the warmer months. He is excited about this new chapter for him and his family in Montana.


Dr. Benjamin Crockett

 Dr. Crockett is a native to the Northwest, he grew up in Oregon and attended Walla Walla University in Washington to earn his undergraduate degree. He continued his education by attending dental school at Loma Linda University. Upon graduation he moved back to his home state of Oregon where he practiced for 15 years. Prior to moving to the Valley he practiced for 3 years in Coeur D’Alene Idaho. In 2023 he made the move to Flathead Valley to join the Smile Montana team!

He is excited to be here in the valley where he can get his fill of skiing, biking, and fly fishing. He enjoys spending time outside with his two young children Poppy and Lincoln. They love to explore the outdoors, and take lots of camping trips together!
